Welcome to Quednau Hearing
At Quednau Hearing, we understand how hearing loss can affect your life because we’ve been in your shoes. Teri Quednau, Owner and Hearing Instrument Specialist, has been wearing hearing aids herself for more than 20 years, and she knows the difference they can make.
We are passionate about helping other people with hearing loss get their lives back. That’s what drives us every day – improving quality of life. We are here to be your partner as you go down the path toward better hearing.
Why Choose Quednau Hearing?
- We take the time to do things right. We pride ourselves on truly listening to patients and promise to never rush you through your appointment.
- We educate. Our goal is for you to understand your hearing loss and your treatment options. Once you’re empowered with the knowledge, you can make the decision on what’s best for you.
- We’re woman owned. And women run.
- We know what hearing loss is like. Teri herself has been wearing hearing aids for more than 20 years. Her firsthand experience is a great tool at helping you navigate the hearing process.
What to Expect at Your First Appointment
When you visit our hearing center, you will always be greeted by a friendly face. We allow up to two hours for our first meeting. This gives us plenty of time for everyone to understand your hearing loss and treatment options.
- The appointment begins with our hearing specialist, Teri, getting to know you. She will ask about your lifestyle and what you’ve been having trouble hearing.
- Then she will go over what hearing loss is and how it can affect your cognition and overall health.
- Teri will begin the hearing evaluation by first performing an ear exam. She will look inside your ears for any signs of impacted earwax, which she can remove in-office.
- After she’s looked inside your ears, Teri will test your hearing ability and speech recognition.
- After your evaluation, she’ll go over your results, what they mean, and what your treatment options are.
